The Hand of G-d
We now officially live in a society where meaningless gestures of rudeness and impolite expressions of disdain pass for “virtue.” It is more important to be seen to believe or act a certain way than to actually do or be that. Where appearances are more meaningful than substance. A society where words are believed to hurt more than knives.
The fear is the future. Like the South in 1860, the belief is that only the worst possible bad outcome will happen. Only the worst possible outcome is absolute. And how do those who believe that defend against it? By screaming and acting out. By accusing anyone and everyone who disagrees with us the very enemy of G-d himself.
So before we really react when Maxine Waters (D-CA) screeches that “God is on our side!” to her minions, we might want to consider a few things…
