Then he’ll do a pretty good job of dancing around the topic, until he has his “Madison Moment” and not only spells out the real issue, but makes a confession, one that until today NOBODY has ever heard.

The story begins with the idea of putting Enlisted women on to submarines. Not just any submarine, by the by, but Dave’s old submarine, the USS Michigan.

What are the issues and difficulties of submarine life? How will women integrate into those traditions and lifestyles?

What is the real issue? (It’s at this point that Dave will have his “Madison Moment” and that Dave will make a startling confession about his own sordid life aboard USS Michigan)

Talk Show host, lifelong Baseball and Star Trek fan, US Navy Submariner and Fire Control Technician (Ballistic Missile) 1st Class Petty Officer (Submarine Qualified), Dave is married with four daughters, one son, two sons-in-law and two grandchildren plus one on the way.
