The Night Sky


Only one time in my entire life I was able to be outside on a moonless night in a place were there was no – and I mean no light, artificial or otherwise. It was simply amazing. The truly disappointing part was being unable to convince my (then) wife to share the moment and take an hour to just stare at the sky for a while.

Imagine gong to Mars and being able to see the sky with no lights at all. The Curiosity Rover did and took this panorama of the night sky. Check it out. After you figure out the controls, this is absolutely amazing…
